Fire threat man saved
A laborer who took a barrel of oil onto the neighboring roof of a former employer's business was persuaded to abandon plans to torch himself on Monday.
The man had climbed onto the roof of a restaurant in Haidian district but was consoled by his wife and police officers, Beijing Youth Daily reported yesterday.
