The 'Whatever' generation risks turning into sheep

If your friend's only response to an inquiry is "Whatever", you are in a quandary. However, these days it happens a lot. As a social investigator, I would certainly fail my report if all respondents tick the "Whatever" box.

Also, typically, people from this generation like to answer "OK" to questions when in fact things are not OK. Cantonese food smells too much of the sea, Sichuan food is too spicy, Jiangsu food is too sweet and Shanghai food comes in portions that are too small.
