Charges over 19 yuan

A young man who dropped out of university in 2006 and was the victim of a robbery when he arrived Beijing is facing charges himself after he allegedly stole food worth 19 yuan in Daxing district, the Beijing Youth Daily reported yesterday.

The 27-year-old arrived in Beijing in May hoping to set up a business but lost his 10,000 yuan seed money and his mobile phone when he was robbed.
