Trafficking suspects held

Four suspects involved in a spate of child-trafficking cases have been arrested by the police in Anxi county, Fujian province, China News Service reported yesterday.

The local police established a special investigation group after a tipster claimed that people were kidnapping and selling children in Chengxiang town, which is under the administration of Anxi county. The police officers contacted the criminal gang by pretending to be buyers. Three suspects were caught red-handed, and two toddlers were rescued.
