Similar to 'father' investigating its own 'son'

In regards to the problems exposed in the wedding feast of Xiao Zili, head of the Anti-Smuggling Bureau of Shenzhen Customs, customs officials recently said only one of the government vehicles involved in the wedding belonged to the bureau, and the wedding feast had been reported to the higher authority and no violations had been found.

It is obvious that holding a wedding banquet of 45 tables with a cost of 3,380 yuan ($495) each violates the Party's principle of "prohibiting holding luxurious activities for personal affairs". However, in its notification, Shenzhen Customs said that the bride and groom are both serving cadres of the customs office and the bride's side paid for the total expenditure of 152,100 yuan and received a cash gift of 79,162 yuan.
