Corrupt official jailed
A former official was sentenced to 15 years in prison for corruption on Tuesday, the Beijing News reported.
Wu Yizhen, former secretary of the CPC county committee of Chengbu Miao autonomous county, was accused of accepting 1.2 million yuan ($176,000) in bribes. The police said they have not yet to recovered the money.
