Thieves raid tombs
More than 10 ancient tombs in Gaochun county were destroyed as "thieves raided the sites using excavators" on Monday morning, Yangtze Evening News reported yesterday.
Fragments of broken potteries and valuable wooden boards of coffins were found scattered near the tombs, which date back to the Han Dynasty (202 BC-220 AD).
