Love in modern times

The playwright-director couple Liao Yimei and husband Meng Jinghui are an influential force in modern theater, and are known for their avant-garde style. Their representative work, Rhinoceros in Love, which tells the story of a desperate love, has been popular on the stage since its debut in 1999. The cast of this new, fourth version is led by Zhang Nianhua and Qi Xi.
