SHANGHAI: Global consumer products maker Kimberly-Clark Group is hoping to extend its existing childcare and feminine hygiene product lines in China over the next few years to meet surging market demand, said a top executive yesterday.
"We might also introduce other categories of products that are not currently sold in China, or bring in products that are made particularly to the interests of Chinese consumers," said Robert W. Black, group president of Kimberly-Clark International, yesterday. He made the remarks in Shanghai during a three-day meeting of senior leaders from the company's emerging markets worldwide.
This is the first time for executives from India and Australia to gather in China and discuss their development strategy.
