New mayor elected
The country's youngest municipality has a new mayor, State run Xinhua news agency reported yesterday.
Huang Qifan, 57, was elected mayor of Chongqing in the third session of the third people's congress of the city yesterday.His former posts were vice secretary of the municipal Party committee and acting mayor.
