Police offer reward over murder case

Local police in Tonghai county of Yunnan province are offering a reward of up to 50,000 yuan ($7,300) for information on a murder suspect who is at large after allegedly killing a family of four on Thursday night.

The victims are Shen Fan, 30, the shopkeeper of a veterinary drugstore in Xiushan town of Tonghai, his 27-year-old wife Hu Qinli, their 6-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter, each suffering cuts on their necks.

Initial investigations showed that the suspect is a 1.7-m-tall male who wore a coat with the word "SPA" printed on it and a pair of black or brown sneakers of the Tebu Chinese brand.
