Rolling out the red carpet

Amadeo Zarzosa, general manager of St. Regis Hotel, Singapore, recalls with great excitement receiving President Hu Jintao, his wife and the entire Chinese delegation when they stayed in the hotel for five days, last November.

"A senior person in the delegation told me that this was one of the best hotels he had ever stayed in. We are greatly honored," Zarzosa tells China Daily, during his recent promotion tour in Shanghai and Beijing.

Zarzosa says the president's visit has inspired them to intensify efforts to serve the Chinese market.
