Five dead in mine flood
Five miners have died after a coalmine was flooded in west China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region on Friday morning, the regional coalmine safety administration said.
The flooding occurred at about 9 am in the Longneng Coal Mining Co, situated in the Taiyangshan Development Zone in Wuzhong, when 13 miners were working underground. Five managed to escape.
