Caught in the Mousetrap

The producer of The Mousetrap, together with eight actors, met with media on Tuesday afternoon, before giving 12 performances in Shanghai, marking the first time the longest-running live show in history has been staged outside of London.

Sir Stephen Waley-Cohen, producer of The Mousetrap for 15 years, said that Modern Theatrical Valley was the first to invite the play to be staged in a foreign country after 58 years.

"I have to pay tribute to the imagination of the Modern Theatrical Valley," he said.
