It's raining volunteers
By the end of 2009, more than 610,000 applicants were competing for an opportunity to volunteer during the World Expo 2010 Shanghai China, a local official said yesterday.
Ma Chunlei, an official with the municipal publicity department, said the applicants came from 109 countries and regions, and 3,001 of them applied via the Internet.
