Paying attention to mental illness

Recently I read some news about a few people with mental diseases who had committed serious crimes. Many called for more public attention on that matter. In fact, the problem is an old one that hadn't been discussed in length until the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008. But I don't want to blame the criminal suspects too much. I want to have mercy on them.

I think that everyone has problems more or less with his or her mind, a trend that has grown in recent years. A perfect mind must be a balanced one. But in a society without core values, where people are doing anything to get rich, a perfect hotbed has been created for mental illness.
