Corpse on busy street

Twenty people were put under criminal detention for disturbing social order or disrupting public service after they put a corpse in the middle of a busy street in Weining county, blocking traffic for about seven hours on Jan 8, officials said yesterday.

According to the local government, a resident named Yue Bukun was murdered in front of a hair-salon, and his family and friends became irrational and urged police to arrest a neighbor, who they accused for the crime.
