M15 section to open
A section - from Wangjing to Houshayu in Shunyi district - of the subway line M15 will be opened at the end of this year, authorities announced this week. The section will have eight stations and is expected to transport 440,000 people a day, according to Beijing News. Starting in Xiyuan and ending in Shunyihedong, Line M15 will eventually traverse Haidian, Chaoyang and Shunyi, linking the northern part of the city.
