Overworked snow sweeper remains in coma

A sanitation worker who fell unconscious while clearing the streets of snow remains in a coma yesterday.

Wang Changrong, 48, a veteran street sweeper of 25 years, was sent to the Military General Hospital of Beijing on Tuesday evening after falling unconscious at work.

Doctors determined the cause as bleeding from the brain and performed a three-hour operation to stabilize his condition, but he remains in a coma.
