New zoo to begin trial run before Spring Festival
A new zoo will begin trial operation before the Lunar New Year that kicks off on Feb 14 in Dongguan, Guangdong province.
More than 1,000 animals, including giraffes, zebras, tigers, lions, black bears, gorillas, hippos and elephants, have settled down in the zoo, which is located in the city's Liaobu township.
