Student wants 600,000 yuan for dad's treatment

A college student in Leshan, Sichuan province, has posted an online ad seeking a 600,000-yuan ($87,850) loan from 600 people for her father's medical treatment.

Liu Lu, 22, a fourth-grade student in the Leshan Normal University, said that her father was involved in a serious road accident and received 520,000 yuan as compensation, "all of which has gone toward his treatment, which is set to cost another 600,000 yuan".
