Most of Cabinet rejected
The Afghan parliament dealt President Hamid Karzai a painful blow on Saturday when it rejected more than two-thirds of his cabinet nominees, including several close allies and former guerrilla commander Ismail Khan. Seventeen of a total of 24 candidates were turned down.
