Going global

An English-language version of Expo Online (www.expo.cn), the virtual component of the 2010 World's Fair, was launched on Friday, offering remote access to the event to Internet users, which will amount to 2.2 billion globally in 2013, or roughly one-third of humanity. Browsers can now enjoy free access to the 3D models of 92 pavilions after another 48 were uploaded on Jan 1. The website will complete all of its promised features by the expo's start date of May 1.
