The Mousetrap comes to Shanghai

Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap, the longest-running play in the history of theater, will run for 12 shows at the Lyceum Theater of Shanghai from Jan 21 to Feb 3. This is the first time the original production is going to be staged outside the United Kingdom.

The Mousetrap is a murder mystery in which a bunch of snowed-in guests and a detective stopping at a country hotel try to figure out who among them is the killer.

Sir Stephen Waley-Cohen, the play's producer since 1994, will oversee the Shanghai shows.
