Oil shortage trick punished
An outlet of the supermarket chain WuMart in Fangzhuang has been penalized by the municipal committee of commerce for illegal promotions, the Beijing Times reported yesterday.
The committee issued a circular reminding retailers not to offer limited quantity promotions that create a feeling of scarce supplies, the report said.
