Private websites forced to relocate data server during fight against online porn

Many Beijing-based websites are being forced to relocate their Internet data centers nationwide after authorities cut access in an ongoing campaign against pornography and "vulgar" information online.

Hundreds of thousands of websites in China have already been closed, insiders estimated, due to local authorities unplugging Internet data centers, or IDCs, with accusations they were hosting other websites that provide "harmful information" .
