Police hope to reduce citizen complaints over law enforcement

Beijing police will start recording some of their investigations next year to help improve officer behavior.

On Friday, the city's public security bureau released the outline of the new law enforcement's code of conduct.

Liu Zhanchuan, vice-head of the police's legal affairs office, said through analysis of complaints against officers' law enforcement in the past two years, a small number referred to law enforcement.
