The city governments of Changchun and Jilin signed an agreement on December 18 to co-develop their tourism economy, marking a significant step in building a Changchun-Jilin Tourism Economic Circle in northeast China's Jilin province.
The two cities only a few hundred kilometers apart have many similarities as well as differences for tourism. Both governments have already cooperated on several projects, including the ongoing ice and snow festival.
According to the newly signed long-term agreement, the two administrations will cooperate in four main aspects: tourism products development, market promotion, policy-making and industry management.
