Tide claims woman

A woman's body was found in the aftermath of a fatal accident, information portal zjol.com.cn reported yesterday. Li Dejun and nine of his relatives got trapped by tidewater at a dam in Qiantang River on Wednesday afternoon when they tried to scatter bone ash into the river. Li and his son were later saved by fishermen and police, but those who could not swim were engulfed by the sea. The identity of the drowned woman is unknown and under investigation. Rescue efforts are ongoing, the report said.
