Chengdu film ready for release
A Good Rain Knows (好雨时节), a romantic comedy directed by South Korean director Hur Jin-ho and set in Chengdu one year after the 2008 earthquake struck, will hit theaters on Jan 20.
The film tells a love story between a teacher in Chengdu and her old friend, a South Korean businessman. Mainland actress Gao Yuanyuan and South Korean actor Jung Woo-sung play the couple.
