Die Hard star Willis gets a vodka bonanza

PARIS: Belvedere SA, the French-Polish vodka maker that's under creditor protection, said actor Bruce Willis will get a 3.3 percent stake in the company as part of an accord for marketing the Sobieski brand.

Willis, known for starring in the Die Hard movies, is allowing Belvedere to use his image to market Sobieski worldwide for four years in exchange for the stake, the Beaune, France-based company said yesterday in a statement distributed by Hugin.

"Bruce Willis confirms his long-term involvement with the Belvedere group," the vodka maker said in the statement.
