BAIC-Saab deal today
Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co (BAIC) is expected to sign an agreement with Saab, a unit of General Motors, today in Beijing to buy part of the Swedish automaker's assets, according to reports.
On Dec 14, BAIC said it would buy the intellectual property for Saab's 9-5 and 9-3 sedans and some equipment related to its manufacture, but did not disclose the terms of the deal.
