Lawsuit on bad bread

A woman who broke her tooth on a stone trapped in bread received compensation of almost 1,800 yuan from the Yili Bread Company, the Chaoyang district court ruled.

The court said yesterday that the 52-year-old women bought two pieces of Yili bread at a Jingkelong outlet on April 18, 2008, which led to her broken tooth. She sued the company and Jingkelong, but the court said the supermarket was not to blame.
