A Beijing consumer group investigation has uncovered a number of down jackets on sale in local stores that fail to meet quality control standards.
Jackets from Spanish brand Zara and French label Golden Fox are among the problem garments, the Beijing Consumer Association said on Monday. BCA sampled 37 products from 50 domestic and foreign brands as part of a consumer education initiative.
BCA said 26 percent of the coats surveyed met qualification standards.
