Fertilizer truck kills 55
A federal spokesman said yesterday that at least 55 people died and 38 others were injured Friday when a truck carrying bags of fertilizer slammed into a group of people near a market in central Nigeria. The truck driver lost control of his rig and crashed into three other vehicles and a crowd of people.
