Hostage journalist free

A journalist working for Britain's Guardian newspaper in Afghanistan has been released along with two Afghan journalists after they were held hostage for six days, the newspaper said yesterday.

Ghaith Abdul-Ahad and the two Afghans were captured last week in a remote region of Afghanistan bordering Pakistan's North-West Frontier province, the paper said.
