CNPC wins Iraq bid
A group of oil majors led by China's CNPC won a deal to develop Iraq's giant Halfaya oilfield on Friday, Iraq Oil Minister Hussain al-Shahristani said, in the country's second bidding round since the 2003 US invasion.
CNPC has a 50 percent stake in the consortium, while Total of France and Malaysia's Petronas hold 25 percent each.
