Retrospective show

Renowned ink artist Yang Zhiguang, from southern Guangdong province, is holding a retrospective exhibition that showcases his 60 years as a painter and art educator.

Known as a Socialist Realism ink artist, the 79-year-old has developed his own style over the past decades, injecting new life into the traditional art genre. The art show features both ink works by Yang and paintings by his students at the Guangzhou-based Yang Zhiguang Center for the Fine Arts.
