Underage sex case

A principal of a vocational school and a legislator of Anxi county were punished for their roles in sex crimes, the Southeast Morning News reported yesterday. The Quanzhou Intermediate People's Court convicted Xu Xinjian of the Anxi Huaqiao Vocational School of raping and having sex with girls aged under 14, sentencing him to death with a 2-year reprieve. Zheng Wenshan, a senior legislator in the county's people's congress, was jailed 11 years for having sex with young girls.
