ZHAOQING, Guangdong: The Zhaoqing High-Tech Industrial Development Zone is gearing up for its bid to become a State-level economic zone. Its ambitious expansion plans have seen it drastically revise its future development policy in line with its hopes to both become a national center of excellence and to achieve an annual industrial output of 500 billion yuan.
