Compensation for Afghans
Germany is negotiating to reach a compensation agreement with Afghan families whose loved ones were among the at-least 140 killed in a September airstrike near Kunduz.
Defense Ministry spokesman Christian Dienst told reporters yesterday that the government is in talks with a lawyer representing the Afghan families in hopes of reaching an out-of-court settlement.
