Industrial zone launched

Zhaoqing High-Tech Industrial Development Zone launched a campaign on Sunday to promote its investment climate and economic and trade cooperation opportunities, securing a total investment of 36.23 billion yuan for 116 projects during the event.

The new investment projects fit in well with the strategy of the zone to accelerate the industrial development of the metal processing, advanced equipment manufacturing, automobile component manufacturing and information technology sectors. The final of the six stops of the 2009 China Touring Car Championship, staged on the same day in the zone, supplemented the promotional campaign.
