Bus fire cause found

A spontaneous bus combustion last month, which claimed the lives of 11 residents in Zhaoyuan county, Heilongjiang province, was caused by heat protection stuffed in the engine cabin, investigators said on Sunday.

A spokesman for the investigation team said the stuffing, mostly cotton and polyurethane foam, had been put in the cabin by the bus driver to keep the engine warm in subzero temperatures.
