Taiwan scientist honored
Forty-eight scientists, including one from Taiwan, were named academicians of engineering, the Chinese Academy of Engineering said yesterday.
Yang Yeong-Bin, professor with Yunlin University of Science & Technology in Taiwan, is the third Taiwanese to win the highest academic honor in the field of engineering science and technology in China.
