Poetry in symphony

Conductor Yu Feng will lead the symphony orchestra and the chorus of the China National Opera House (CNOH) to wow audiences with a symphonic poem concert of Carmina Burana. The work was composed by the German composer Carl Orff in 1935, and consists of 25 poems selected from the original Carmina Burana - a set of mysterious poems about European life in the 13th century. Yu is the artistic director of the CNOH and also teaches at the Central Conservatory of Music.
