Redskins need to dig down deep - Zorn

WASHINGTON: The Washington Redskins need to "dig down deep" in the midst of a bitterly disappointing season punctuated by late-game losses and a slew of injuries, head coach Jim Zorn said Monday.

Washington lost to the Philadelphia Eagles 27-24 Sunday after blowing an eight-point fourth-quarter lead. A week earlier, they gave up a late score in a 7-6 setback to Dallas.

"I'm going to call for them to dig down deep," Zorn said on Monday at the team's training facility in Ashburn, Virginia. "They've been doing it all year.
