Eight killed in car accident

Eight people were killed and seven others injured in a car accident in Heilongjiang province, local officials said Tuesday.

The accident happened at about 7:40 am when a mini-bus carrying 15 people collided with a van on Hazhao Road in Liuhe township, Mulan county, said Xue Hongling, one of the injured.
