Updated: 2009-12-01 07:59 No ban on cargo aircrafts The State Civil Aviation Administration denied yesterday that it has banned all MD-11 cargo aircrafts from flying. On Saturday morning, a MD-11 cargo aircraft of Zimbabwe's Avient Aviation crashed at Shanghai Pudong International Airport during takeoff, leaving three dead and four injured. More than 68 flights were also delayed that day. The plane's black box has been retrieved but deciphering it is going to require more time, administration officials said. Luxury villa unveiled Shanghai-based property developer Deluxe Family Co Ltd unveiled its luxury villa construction plan that covers 0.56 sq km in the city of Suzhou in Jiangsu province on Sunday. The project consists of four phases, the first of which debuted on Sunday. Phase 1 contains 139 independent villas ranging from 442 sq m to 817 sq m in area, with the remaining three phases under construction. (China Daily 12/01/2009 page5) |
