Lessons from an African fable

The huge placard hanging in insurance salesman Wang Zhongping's office portrays a fable about a lion and an antelope living in the African Savannah.

The antelope wakes up every day hoping to run faster than the fastest lion, while the lion wakes up hoping to run faster than the slowest antelope.

Wang believes it offers a lesson relevant to his life: "Whether a lion or an antelope, you have no other choice but to run as swiftly as you can."
