Tainted milk coffers empty

Parents of babies sickened by tainted milk products will not get any money as compensation, even if they win civil compensation lawsuits against the now defunct Sanlu Group, which was at the heart of a melamine scandal last year, said the Shijiazhuang Intermediate People's Court. The court decided this month that the bankruptcy procedure for Sanlu had concluded, leaving no money for the payment of settlements.
